High Efficiency Meters Head Impulse Turbine

Turbine or Impulse Turbine suit to water head 100 to 1000 meters and with certain small flow. It could vertical and horizontal arrangement, nozzle numbers from one to six. Turbine with feature of wide flow high efficiency region. It could start turbine with 10% of rated flow. Turbine with one or two nozzles usually adopt horizontal arrangement, but multiple nozzle Pelton turbine adopts vertical arrangement. Turbine units are wildly used in mountain area all over the world, and well known by its simple structure, less investment, high efficiency, and reliable long service life.

Runner manufacture workmanship has been improved sharply in recent years. The runner could be wholly casted or forged stainless steel and then be shaped and polished by digital control machine tool. Runner has been manufactured by us all this high strength, higher efficiency, and longer service life. The factory tests including static and dynamic balance test, UT test, and dimension measurement. 

The impulse turbine is a kind of hydraulic prime mover that uses a special water guiding mechanism to draw a free jet with kinetic energy, rush to the runner bucket, make the runner rotate and perform work, thereby completing the conversion of water energy into mechanical energy. The impulse turbine is suitable for high-head, low-flow power stations. It converts the water from the pressure pipeline into a high-speed jet after passing through the nozzle, and tangentially impacts the runner, pushing the runner to rotate, thereby driving the generator rotor to rotate and generate electricity.
The runners produced by our company are divided into integral forged runners (integral CNC machining) and cast runners (divided into partial CNC machining and overall CNC machining).
